About the Role
Provide administrative support for the organization by running reports, handling information requests, and performing a variety of accounting and clerical functions.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Maintain and update the status of accounts payables
- Provide efficient client services and provide support to administration staff
- Assist audit activities
- Prepare, send, and store the record of invoices on time
- Update internal accounting databases and spreadsheets
- Analyze the transactions with financial policies and procedures
- Maintain and manage monthly journals, update entries, and maintain sub-ledger
- Prepare documents for management approval
- Complete cost adjustments upon request
- Support the Project Administration team with pay applications and other accounting functions
- Post approvals within our accounting and project management software
Required Experience
- Proven work experience as an Accounts Administrator or similar role
- Hands-on experience with accounting software
- Advanced knowledge of Excel (using financial formulas and creating spreadsheets)
- Solid data entry skills with an ability to identify numerical errors
- Good organizational and time-management abilities
- BS Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a relevant field
Minimum Qualifications
- Basic understanding of General Ledger accounts and proper project cost coding
- Ability to troubleshoot potential errors in coded invoices, expense statements, and other accounting transactions.
- Proficient with the following software programs Microsoft Office Word, Blue Beam/Adobe, Box, DocuSign, and AIA Software)
