Roles and Responsibilities

  • Maintain General Ledger activity in addition to A/P and A/R
  • Doing Bank Reconciliations
  • Reconcile all business accounts to ensure our records match up and no transaction gets lost
  • Various government filings
  • Preparing Statements and Reports for Accountants
  • Enter financial data into computer software, making sure all bills and invoices are filed correctly
  • Entering adjusting general ledger entries
  • Doing payroll

Required Experience

  • QuickBooks experience is required
  • Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) is a plus
  • Buildertrend software is a plus
  • AIA documents is a plus

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
  • Detail-oriented individual with ability to meet deadlines
  • Strong organizational skills
  • High level of critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Strong ability to follow directions and multitask
