Roles and Responsibilities
- Maintain General Ledger activity in addition to A/P and A/R
- Doing Bank Reconciliations
- Reconcile all business accounts to ensure our records match up and no transaction gets lost
- Various government filings
- Preparing Statements and Reports for Accountants
- Enter financial data into computer software, making sure all bills and invoices are filed correctly
- Entering adjusting general ledger entries
- Doing payroll
Required Experience
- QuickBooks experience is required
- Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) is a plus
- Buildertrend software is a plus
- AIA documents is a plus
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
- Detail-oriented individual with ability to meet deadlines
- Strong organizational skills
- High level of critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Strong ability to follow directions and multitask
