Roles and Responsibilities
Category Manager Support

  • Category Communication (Procurement updates)
  • Management and maintenance of “The Venue” files, forms, and SDS in the library and co-ordinate with the Marketing team to ensure loaded on the website.
  • Product Quality issue resolution with Category Managers
  • New code creation/ form management and maintenance
  • Assist with project work (supplier data, acquisitions, inventory projects- slob) 

Product ranges/ Catalogue Admin/ RPM/ quarterly

  • Management and maintenance of ranging master file master control (ins, outs, alternatives, communications on changes to the business, product performance review, and analysis)
  • Trade show booth, Tradeshow invites, Response co-ordination/Samples for tradeshows
  • Meeting minutes
  • Assist the Category team with the preparation of the annual catalog including new product submissions, setting up codes, chasing suppliers for imagery
  • Proofreading and checking marketing materials to ensure the accuracy of codes, pricing, etc. before they go to print
  • Supplier Ad pages coordination, RPM, Quarterly, mini catalogs – draft checking/ Artwork proofing/ Image/ content requests. Samples of local and international
  • Attend and assist with the setup of Reward’s annual conference and trade show
  • Provide support to the Category Contracts & Analyst role for supplier invoicing and Cognos Sales and Purchasing Cubes

A Successful Candidate Must Have

  • Good both in written and spoken English literacy
  • Knowledge and experience in undertaking an administrative role preferably gained within a category or procurement team
  • Some knowledge of Hospitality and the ability and willingness to gain additional product knowledge quickly
  • Intermediate/ advanced Microsoft Word, Office, PowerPoint, Excel, and Pronto or similar large ERP system knowledge /experience
