Roles and Responsibilities

  • Develop compelling, branded content that tells the stories of the company
  • Write clear marketing copy for digital communications including company website and social media
  • Proofread and edit content prepared by others
  • Coordinate with marketing and design teams to illustrate digital content
  • Evaluate/adjust content for different channels (such as social media, website, e-blasts, video, internal, etc.)
  • Monitor company and key clients’ social media posts. Interpret and interact with posts as necessary
  • Ensure all-around consistency in style, fonts, images, and tone
  • Employ excellent writing, critical thinking, and people skills
  • Reports to Digital Marketing Manager and Core Services Manager

Required Experience

  • 3+ years as a marketing or communications generalist, preferably for a professional services firm (construction a plus)
  • Experience doing research using multiple sources
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams) and Adobe Creative Suite (Acrobat Pro, InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)

Minimum Qualifications

  • Relevant Bachelor’s degree (Marketing, Communications, or English are good; Journalism is ideal)

  • Strong writing and editing abilities
  • Ability to create copy content within branding guidelines
  • Analytical skills

Work Hours

  • Monday – Friday 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (includes 1-hr lunch break) PT, Los Angeles, CA
