Roles and Responsibilities

  • Budgeting and reporting
  • Advising on strategic planning and business planning
  • Overseeing benefits and compensation packages
  • Creating financial statements for internal and external company requirements
  • Providing financial analysis and forecasting including cashflow forecasts
  • Cost-benefit analysis
  • Supervising one data entry role
  • Improving efficiencies and reducing costs across the business
  • Overseeing Debt management and collection
  • Filing company GST tax returns monthly
  • Ensuring compliance with statutory law and financial regulations
  • Overseeing Payroll processing
  • Working closely with management or executive teams to share reports and analysis findings
  • Well-developed leadership skills
  • Develop and maintain cost models
  • Extract, manipulate, analyze and present sound financial and commercial analysis and support to managers to enable effective business decision making
  • Month-end reporting processes
  • Various ad-hoc projects including operational improvements and ROI
  • Previous experience working with the offshore company is not required but would be helpful

A Successful Candidate Must Have

  • Excellent English written and verbal
  • An accounting degree
  • Experience with Xero software
  • A basic understanding of Management accounting and want to work in this field
  • Ability to visit New Zealand (all paid for by us)at least once per year for at least 2 weeks to spend time in our operation and be part of our team
