Roles and Responsibilities
- Budgeting and reporting
- Advising on strategic planning and business planning
- Overseeing benefits and compensation packages
- Creating financial statements for internal and external company requirements
- Providing financial analysis and forecasting including cashflow forecasts
- Cost-benefit analysis
- Supervising one data entry role
- Improving efficiencies and reducing costs across the business
- Overseeing Debt management and collection
- Filing company GST tax returns monthly
- Ensuring compliance with statutory law and financial regulations
- Overseeing Payroll processing
- Working closely with management or executive teams to share reports and analysis findings
- Well-developed leadership skills
- Develop and maintain cost models
- Extract, manipulate, analyze and present sound financial and commercial analysis and support to managers to enable effective business decision making
- Month-end reporting processes
- Various ad-hoc projects including operational improvements and ROI
- Previous experience working with the offshore company is not required but would be helpful
A Successful Candidate Must Have
- Excellent English written and verbal
- An accounting degree
- Experience with Xero software
- A basic understanding of Management accounting and want to work in this field
- Ability to visit New Zealand (all paid for by us)at least once per year for at least 2 weeks to spend time in our operation and be part of our team
