Roles and Responsibilities

  • Support and enhance existing Xamarin mobile applications
  • Migrate Xamarin applications to Android native
  • Innovation through experimentation for Tizen and Android features with the UX and product teams
  • Work with iOS, web, and API developers to create simple solutions to complex problems

Required Experience

  • Experience developing OO Kotlin Android native apps
  • Exposure to Xamarin

A Successful Candidate must have

  • Innovation through experimentation mindset
  • Good understanding of wearable and mobile device limitations (battery life, connectivity issues, etc)

Experience Advantage

  • Experience developing Xamarin applications
  • Battery use optimisation skills (especially on wearable devices)
  • Design skills for request queuing and caching for unreliable connectivity
  • Understanding release processes for application stores (Google Play, Samsung Store, etc)
  • Exposure to Wear OS and Google Assistant (these are on the roadmap)
  • Implementation and management of CI/CD pipeline and automated UI/UX testing
  • Experience developing Cordova applications
  • Experience developing C++ applications
