Roles and Responsibilities

  • Support Recruitment Manager in all aspects of recruiting for new drivers and/or vehicle types, including:
  • Inducting successful applicants, including training in relevant systems (e.g. PDA), on-the-road training, and arranging new driver induction at client sites
  • Onboarding drivers into their role and ANC’s culture, including daily review of a new driver’s progress for the first week and then weekly for their first month
  • Implement administrative systems and procedures, and monitor administrative projects, including:
    o Management of driver records and distribution of uniforms
    o Maintain uniform supplies inventory e.g. stocktake as needed, anticipating needed supplies, place orders for supplies and verify receipt
    o Provision of information to drivers and employees, answering driver questions and requests
    o Coordination and preparation of reports, e.g. vehicle types currently in Fleet
    o Management of permanent runs
    § Mud maps of all runs
    § Replacement drivers trained for all runs
    o Work with the Operations team to manage driver holidays/absences ensuring adequate coverage for any absent permanent runs 
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies

Required Experience

  • Evidence of strong administration and organization skills
  • Experience in reporting and analyzing information for use by others
  • Ability to appropriately engage and communicate with people
  • Desire to positively influence customer experience outcomes
  • Professional approach to work
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills

Experience Advantage
