Roles and Responsibilities
- Demonstrates proficient telephone etiquette and excellent communication skills
- Demonstrates proficient administrative and data entry skills
- Completes daily activities with minimal direction and supervision
- Conduct a monthly reconciliation of every bank account
- Issue financial statements
- Maintain an orderly electronic accounting filing system
- Process payroll in a timely manner
- Provide clerical and administrative support to management, as requested
- Prepare tax returns, payments, necessary paperwork, and reports
- Prepare and issue tax extensions for tax clients
- Assist with monthly payroll, bookkeeping, and sales tax returns
Required Experience
- A minimum of 1-2 years’ experience as an Accountant or similar role
- Good understanding of MS Office and accounting software (Quickbooks Online and Quickbooks Enterprise)
- In-depth knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping processes
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or relevant field
- Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical skills
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Fluent in Spanish (Preferred, but not required)
