Roles and Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot cloud, network & system issues
  • Monitor active cloud, network, and server infrastructure
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance on equipment
  • Administer security measures to prevent system interruptions or breaches
  • Execute sensitive data backup and restoration procedures
  • Design, implement, and support Microsoft, Apple, and Linux-related technologies
  • Design, implement, and support Remote access solutions like VPN, Remote Desktop Services, VDI
  • Document all technical procedures and maintain accurate ticketing notes
  • Improve customer service, perception, and satisfaction
  • Escalate service or project issues that cannot be completed within agreed service levels
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of the service catalog and how it relates to customer’s needs
  • Help to document internal processes and procedures
  • Remain up to date with current and future technologies via publications, social media, groups, conferences, and more
  • Mentor and train other team members on escalation procedures
