Roles and Responsibilities

  • Full-time role reporting to the Dev Manager.
  • Leading 1 or more agile/scrum teams
  • Responsible for sprint planning, estimation & ensuring sprint goals are met
  • Gets team to a high performing level by recognizing areas of strength and improvement and employing appropriate coaching and development techniques
  • Guides and coaches the team on how to use Agile practices and principles to deliver high-quality products and services
  • Ensure everyone on the team understands their project’s goals and scope
  • Help the product owners maintain the product backlog
  • Help each team agree on what they can achieve during each development sprint
  • Facilitate the daily stand-ups & other sprint ceremonies
  • Ensure each person is working on the right tasks, helping to remove any obstacles to the team members’ progress, and protecting the team from distractions
  • Ensure the team maintains its focus on delivering new releases in a timely manner

Required Experience

  • 6+ years of experience in Project & People management
  • 4+ years of experience working in Agile environment, ideally leading Agile squads

Minimum Qualifications

  • Graduate or Diploma in Computer application, engineering course, or management degree
  • Project Management certification preferred
